• American Counseling Association - The American Counseling Association is a not-for-profit, professional and educational organization that is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession. By providing leadership training, publications, continuing education opportunities, and advocacy services to nearly 45,000 members, ACA helps counseling professionals develop their skills and expand their knowledge base. • ACA State Divisions - Within the American Counseling Association there are 20 divisions. These divisions enhance professional identity and are organized around specific interest and practice areas. • American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy - The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy. • American Mental Health Counselors Association - The American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is a growing community of more than 6,000 clinical mental health counselors. • American School Counselor Association - The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) supports school counselors' efforts to help students focus on academic, personal/social and career development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society. • American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) - AACC is committed to assisting Christian counselors, the entire 'community of care,' licensed professionals, pastors, and lay church members with little or no formal training.
